It looked nice when I first walked in, but after a bit you could tell it was kind of worn down. The bed was fine, nothing special. For the price, I just expected it to be a little better

I signed up for Tablet Hotels mainly because of the member benefits, i was so excited I probably hyped it up way too much in my head. I was expecting to feel like I had unlocked some secret VIP travel world, but instead it was kind of a sad little balloon deflating.
A few hotels did show perks on the site, but when I actually checked in, the staff either seemed confused or the perk was something super minor, like a late checkout maybe, if the stars aligned. It just didn’t feel special at all, and I kept thinking, wait, this is what I paid extra for?
The website itself is nice, and the hotels are definitely to browse, so I’m not saying it was a total disaster. But as a member, I really didn’t feel like I got much beyond a nice-looking booking page. Unless the benefits become way clearer and more reliable, I probably won’t renew.
